Formed in 2004 by Matthew Willis as the end result of years in experimenting with sounds and writing songs about the human condition. Through Willis's raw instrumentals and imagination purveying real human thoughts and emotions into musical art, Splendor Projekt was born. After an almost seemingly fated meeting in 2005 between Matthew and Jean Michel Lamazou, they began making music together. The addition of Jean Michel and his talants gave the band the spark it needed.The path became clear. Two guys collaborating from across the world, mutating into one musical life form. This creative collaboration between the two talented individuals would quickly gain uncontrollable momentum. Since their formation, they have been played on radio stations and clubs around the world without doing a single live show or before even officially releasing any material. Splendor Projekt's demos have spread like wild fire through the electro community. Their fanbase seems to grow daily. Many people have come to find the down to earth nature of the band members as pleasing as the music itself. Appearing in their first music compilation (Sector One Sector Series Compilation) in 2006 and their work with the talented producer/remixer Peter Rainman would eventually lead to them being signed by Sec+ion 44 Label in 2008.They are currently in studio working on their debut full lenth LP "Age of Love", which will be released later this year.
